Anniversary 10 years AK GGS

For a decade now, the Commercial Dishwashing Working Group (AK GGS) has been a pioneering initiative for the development and provision of practical information for the commercial dishwashing sector and for dealing with current issues in related subject areas. 

 

This is based on an active exchange between all companies involved in the process from different sectors in the commercial dishwashing industry. 

The focus of the last 10 years has been to increase ecological and economic efficiency and also hygiene in the commercial dishwashing sector through the exchange of expertise and the active promotion of standards.  

On the homepage of the AK GGS, interested parties can find various publications in German and English on current topics as well as guidelines on standards, grease separators, microbiological and dosing technology issues, among others. 

The AK GGS is particularly proud of the production of the "Practical Handbook for Commercial Dishwashing" with 12 chapters in German and English, which is available online (also in printed form from Shaker-Verlag ISBN- 978-3-8440-8620-1). 

The practical handbook is suitable as a basic introduction to the fundamentals of commercial dishwashing and provides operators with tips on how to promote efficiency, economy and sustainability in commercial dishwashing. 

The AK GGS carries out independent and fact-oriented work that does not involve any association or club activities and is supported organizationally by the IHO (Industrial Association for Hygiene and Surface Protection) and the ZVEI (German Electro and Digital Industry Association).
